CSA6445 is climbing via FL365 for assigned FL400. Conflict alert initiates due to EDW6335 flying at FL380 approaching the same point (YNN VOR in this case). When this happens a pop up window will open with both aircraft details. It indicates the current distance between them (15nm) and the closest they will get (4nm) calculated automatically based on current data (groundspeed & track) projected into time. The aircraft in this example are not in danger but the standard 10nm separation provided by en route radar is reduced here.
CLAM (Cleared Level Adherence Monitoring) Westbound flying PS17A over SIT at FL220, destination LGSA, has been assigned FL130 but, because there is a small delay from the pilot in initiating the descent, the CLAM alert lights up. The N next to 130 means it is not RVSM equipped aircraft. The aircaft is Medium (weight) category with 270 kts ground speed and is controlled by AC5 sector controller.
