[ HvACC Pilots Squadron upgrade requirements ]

Squadron Upgrade Application

Keep in mind that HvACC Pilots Team Squadrons is an invention of HvACC to enhance our hobby and if a pilot does not want to join he is free not to.

Joining a squadron will help us to provide:

• Better flightplans for organised mini fly-ins according to the pilots level
• Better training to new and old pilots

Below are the requirements the Hellenic Virtual ACC has set as minimums for each "SQUADRON", for a HvACC Pilot to have, in order for him to upgrade to the next one.We will never require (nor should the pilots served by ATC demand) more knowledge per level than the ones specified below.


NOTE : In order to be upgraded to a higher squadron apart from being an HvACC Pilots Team Member you also have to pass a very simplified checkride that will assure your knowledge (according to the squadron you belong).

  • Flight Simulator IFR Training Lessons
    
    
• Practical training
  • organized on line Training Nights

This is the common status an HvACC Pilot has when he joins HvACC Pilots Team

Belonging to Squadron "O" means that you are at least subscribed to HvACC Pilots Team Mailing List and you are ready to proceed to the following checkrides for a higher Squadron.

Specific flightplans will be sent in Pilots Team List if you want to join them. 

NEED TO KNOW :

• Now how to fly IFR within Greece
• Use the correct R/T terms in online voice channels

Specific password protected flightplans will be sent in Pilots Team List for Squadron "A" Pilots. 

Available after having minimum 20 online hours (as squadron "A" pilot) and having passed checkride "B".

NEED TO KNOW :

• Now how to fly IFR within and outside Greece
• Use the correct ENGLISH R/T terms in online voice channels

Specific password protected flightplans will be sent in Pilots Team List for Squadron "B" Pilots. 

NEED TO KNOW :

• How to fly IFR within AND outside Greece
• Use the correct Greek and English R/T terms in online voice channels
• How to fly dangerous NON-Precision Approaches

Specific password protected flightplans will be sent in Pilots Team List for Squadron "C" Pilots.
