Roster Status - Chicago ARTCC Roster
The Chicago ARTCC Roster will be trimmed on a monthly basis.
If you have spent LESS THAN 15 HOURS online in Chicago ARTCC controlling positions
in the prior 60 days, you will be dropped from the Chicago ARTCC Roster and listed as "unassigned" within the VATUSA Division.
Additionally, if an attempt to email the roster members has been made and "your" email bounced, you will be dropped. Email addresses are supposed to be current within VATSIM.

Active Roster
The Active Roster is defined as ARTCC Staff members who have spent AT LEAST 10 HOURS online in Chicago ARTCC controlling positions in the past 30 days, or have joined the ARTCC in the past 30 days.

Three criteria define how the above 10 hours are calculated;
1) You MUST have been online in a Chicago ARTCC controlling position.
Non-active position times and times working in other ARTCCs/FIRs will not be included.
2) You must have been working during times when there is "expected" to be traffic.
Example: Logging on for 4 hours at 1AM US Central time will NOT be counted.
3) Time(s) online will NOT include periods of less than 30 minutes.
(Required MINIMUM in position).

ONLY STAFF on the ACTIVE ROSTER will be included in emails announcing any flyins or other higher than normal traffic staffing requests.
Preference will be given to ACTIVE ROSTER staff during all flyin and announced events.
If you are not regularly participating online, you will be asked to vacate positions in favor of ACTIVE ROSTER staff during any such events, to allow those members who are actively involved in staffing the ARTCC positions during regular flight hours to take advantage of their ongoing efforts to promote the ARTCC.
