Service Bulletin 20051002

This Service Bulletin announces to all members of Miami ARTCC, approved Visiting Controllers and Temporary Guest Controllers that a Letter of Agreement is hereby entered into on October 2, 2005, by and between Miami ARTCC and Jacksonville ARTCC. Further, that all Standard Operating Agreements and Procedures are hereby amended to reflect the provisions of that Letter of Agreement.

Summary:

• The airspace defined as the Tampa TRACON, within the lateral limits defined by the Letter of Agreement, and from the surface up to, but not including, 15,000 ft. MSL, is now wholly incorporated into the airspace under the jurisdiction of the Miami ARTCC.
• The airspace defined as the Orlando TRACON, within the lateral limits defined by the Letter of Agreement, and from the surface up to, but not including, 15,100 ft. MSL, is now wholly incorporated in the airspace under the jurisdiction of the Jacksonville ARTCC.
• Specific provisions regarding the Transfer of Radar Control and Communications can be found in the Letter of Agreement.
