REX Weather Force 2020 issue...

Recommended Posts

Hi, so I just bought the product and tried to inject Live weather in the sim..

Something doesn't seem right.. The barometrics are not updating (still at 1013, 29.92), Temperature not updating.. And weather in general not updating.

I tried to go to ESGG where the METAR was ESGG 162120Z 17009KT 3900 BR BKN004 05/04 Q1018 R21/29//95 but it was partly cloudy, Temp at 14C and 1013 on the QNH... I got a virus warning the first time but re-installed and put the program on my excempt list..? What do i do..?

Any suggestions? 😕

Are you waiting until you reach the airport in MSFS to execute the REX WF weather synthesis?  And the weather synthesis in REX WF is a two-step selection process.  Once you are at your selected airport click "Start Weather Synthesis" at the bottom right corner of REX WF, then on the following screen click the same square tile at #5, "Start Weather Synthesis".  It will take a few moments after that to inject into the sim.

It is clearly spelled out in the documentation.

Same problem here. To me it looks like the 15 December update broke something. Rex interface says it has injected the weather, but it doesn't. Restarts etc makes no difference.

Why bother with REX? Default weather is good and will get better with future updates.

Agree 100%.

Because default weather doesn't always load.

I also have continuous issues with default weather, and worse issues with ATIS/AWOS whether (pun) using default or REX WF.
