I think I read rivers and inland lakes aren't working.

Nope.

For me the sim took ages to load (10 minutes?) and I experienced freezes of a couple of seconds every few minutes.

Works fine here, just the usual crappy weather not working.

When you first get into the game, select Clear skies from the drop down menu. then switch back to Live weather.. and hey presto it will work.

Where can I go to see the boats in action?

BTW, I'm in Spain right now.

Thanks.

No issues with loading here. Probably another mod causing the issue.

Hmm interesting.  I don't have many.  Just the WT mods and a handful of airports but I'll try it out.  Must something wrong if others are OK.

what % do you have traffic set to for boats/ships? if this is high I could see it causing issues.

first test flight, I'm not seeing any ships.  I used to use the FSX mod of this in MSFS, from launch and it worked great.  Not seeing any ships in Little Nav Map either but they were there using the FSX hack?  Any ideas?

If it is anything like the old version, first time in it can take longer.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
