Does anyone know with the new FOV slider will the extra data be loaded into RAM or VRAM?

I wonder if it will do the same for the FSDT version, And will it still be better, or will the default mesh be as good after the update.

This is a World update after all, not a Sim update, but I expect some fixes for the worst CTD problems.

I wonder if this thread will go to 9 pages like the other thread about the  update?

My family came to the US from Sachen Weimar in 1867.  Looking forward to flying over the Weimar area!

Amazing! Weimar - the town where Johann Wolfgang von Goethe lived - I am sure he would use MSFS either if he were still alive

I have spent a lot of time in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, and enjoyed every minute of it.

I hope you all get a great update for your part of the world; it does look very promising from the screenshots.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I wasn‘t thinking of the war. I found it funny because it matches the cliché, you know, the people of the big country perceiving the small neighboring countries merely as surroundings. I’m also not insinuating that that‘s the author‘s attitude, I just found the wording funny. I was just being a bit tongue in cheek that‘s all.

In preparation for the update today I have already removed everything from my community folder via the addon linker. There is still the navigraph-navdata folder & spad-bridge-module folder.

Are these safe to leave for the update or should they be removed as well?

I have already removed all my D AT CH add-ons from the Community folder. I guess, some of them will become obsolete. Trial and Error approach.
