This means that your purported inheritance fund will be upgraded into an automated teller card commonly known as ATM card.

Imagine walking around with a $10.5 ATM card in your wallet. No stress, huh? 😱 My head would be on a swivel: "Wait, is that guy following me?" Maybe the downside is that in the fine print, the daily withdrawal limit is $200, so it'll take just over 143 years to drain it 😣

I get crap like this frequently. Just the other day I got this one ostensibly from CHASE, with whom my checking and savings accounts have been for nearly 30 years now. Who can spot the obvious giveaway (aside from the atrocious grammar)?

Oh no!  A voilation!!  As in, "give us your bank account info" and then "voila" all your money is gone!  😜

Good spotting, Bob! You'd think that these scammers would at least use spell check or something. At least twice a week I get a notice that my Amazon account has been locked. 🤠

My Amazon account never gets locked. I just get these notices that I purchased a $2000+ Apple computer. No problem though. All I have to do provide my account and credit card details and they reverse the charges.

Yep, I get the Amazon robot talking calls saying someone purchased an Apple phony using my account.  Please provide your personal info and we'll fix everything!  🤔  I usually respond 💩 on you!

You're probably right!  I always though a good canned air-horn (when talking to a live person/scammer)  would be better! 😁

Time to rupture some eardrums!

If they were legitimately from Amazon they'd already have that information. Unfortunately, there are some incredibly naive people in the world.

I regularly get “your account has been locked” from two banking institutions I have never done business with, so those are obvious scams.

I subscribe to Spectrum cable for internet, and do get a legit email each month to inform me of my latest bill amount. (The actual payment is automatically deducted). The legitimate email addresses me by name, contains my actual Spectrum account number, and a summary of charges.

I often get a scam Spectrum bill as well. That one addresses me as “Dear Spectrum Customer”, contains no summary of charges, and wants me to “open the attached invoice”. I assume the scammers send those to all known Spectrum email accounts.

For the last year or so, I get this little tidbit on the upper portion of my Netlix home screen.  It says there is a problem with my email address.  I have checked it out and it's fine and seems to lead to something fishy.  There has been no problem with billing or with anything to do with Netflix.
