That actually looks quite good. Will be keeping a eye on this one! I also wonder what this means for Asobos plans to get seasons in.

What all of those season mods totally miss is that not only foliage changes with the season, but all of nature, ground, grass etc. I see snow on green grass.

Only a half done product. I will wait for Asobo's implementation.

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

the one from Bijan is addressing the ground texture color, but overall I agree - the reason the Asobo implementation is taking so long is that they are putting a lot of thought into how to get it done on a large scale that covers multiple aspects of seasonal change around the world. I doubt even they will get it all done on the first pass

Interesting...

'You can fly from New York in autumn and arrive in Buenos Aires with spring vegetation. Or fly out of Sydney in Australia’s winter and arrive in Seattle with summer vegetation.'

Seems to offer less than Bijan’s product for more money. Another unappealing offering from Rex.

Isn't Bijans product fixed seasons where the REX product is dynamic?

Yes, sort of, you need to have the correct season(s) files/folders in the community one, always divided by hemisphere, not a big deal.. my last flight between a hot and cold(snowing) country was spot on.

I'll be buying this for sure. (I'm not expecting a perfect season mod).

No, hence the ‘seems to’.

It seems to offer more than Bijans tree product - tree colour is dynamically changed each week in Autumn/Winter and monthly in spring/summer.  I think I'll give this one a go.

Here is a link to the product page:

https://rexsimulations.com/accuseason.html

Quick high-level overview is it has multiple preset selections for each season, so you get 12 different presets for autumn, 4 for winter, 4 for spring, and 4 for summer. More to be added in the future. You also get dynamic seasons in the app, so you can set it and forget it if you want. For Autumn into winter, that means that things change on a weekly basis. Additionally, you have choices for tree height, as well as a choice for the deciduous tree canopy, and overall color tone options. The winter deciduous trees are pretty nice too and AccuSeason is a application, so you can configure your many options within an application. The price is a bit less than the other product you mentioned. One of our goals is to offer quite a bit of choice in a great interface that is easy to use.
