Dual Core?

Recommended Posts

>Question about what is and what aint.>Is a Pentium D 945 3.06Ghz a "Dual Core" CPU?>>>GaryYes it is, but it doesn't have the more efficient design that the Core 2 Duo's have and is a 90ns chip design. vs the C2D 65ns design. So the C2D's will run cooler, and faster than yours, even at slower clockspeeds.

Thanks

I have that same processor. I'm seeing basically no improvement on my SP1 install vs. before. It's decent, 13-15 FPS Over major city but it jerks around all over from 8-18 in a turn. With frames locked at 20. I used to be a very steady 15 over city and solid 20 at altitude. Looking into tweaks as I type...-Jason Peters E-3 AWACS Flight Engineer USAF (Former B-52H Crew Chief) Jason.Peters@cox.nethttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg
