How frequently will you fly there?

I’ve been waiting for a good KPHL since SunskyJet days. I plan to fly to it often now that will have a good version.

I can’t wait for this. I lived in downtown Philly for a few years in the early 2000’s and used that airport for my travel oversees all the time. I also used to shop at the infamous IKEA facility there ;-). Finally, we’ll get a good KPHL 👍.

worked for Us airways in those days and flew non rev to EU all the time from the then new A terminal.  the rest of KPHL was such a dumpster fire tho.

Last official word from them was soon and the last preview pic was from January. So I’m guessing any time now. I’m looking forward to a side by side review.

They announced “ release soon “ in comment section just 1w ago.

MK Studios version looks very good, even better than I expected. It will undoubtedly be a very difficult decision.

I'm psyched for this.  Downloading the MK version right now,   the price was certainly decent.   I like that shot of the ILS out over the water,    I used to sit out there in my boat and watch the arrivals and departures IRL.  Looked pretty much exactly like that screenshot.   That food court shot looks awesome too.     Uninstalling the Star Scenery version now,   can't wait to fire up the sim and check it out.     Now I just need Henrick's real-time shipping project,  which is imminent but delayed by the acquisition of Fleetmon and Marine Traffic by a company named Kepler.

There is a freeware mod for Phily's ports,   and the two bridges closest to the airport.    The bridges could use some texture work imo,    their color pallete looks a bit unnatural.  But they are only a few KB's and better than the default photogrammetry blob bridges.

In case anyone is interested in this region,    I released KILG a few days ago.    It's 30 miles south of KILG.   Avelo began regular service out of there in Feb. with their 737's.

MK version is going to be better for sure, Dominic have decent models scenery but all their sceneries have bug on the afcad and things that shouldn't be on a payware i definitely don't recommend most of his airports, on other side MK all sceneries i have  are great

I am a native South Jersey guy and flew out of KPHL about twice a month when I was in business there for over 40 years. I watched the real thing grow from a wetlands area to what it is today. Matter of fact, I just flew in and out of there last week. I now live in central PA and use American Airlines to get to KACY to visit a daughter. Fly out of KSCE , or KUNV in MSFS, on AA on an Embraer 145 into Philly.  AA has luxury bus there and drives to KACY where my daughter picks me up. Saves her driving all the way to Philly and back. They use Terminal F for these small planes that feed in from other small airports. Coming back home the trip is in reverse. You go through TSA at Terminal F which is almost no time as there are very few pax there waiting. All in all, not to bad a deal. AA is using this method at other small airports such as Allentown, PA,  and a couple of areas around Denver.

Also, like many other devs there's no ERGLs.  I'm not sure why they don't like putting these in.  I wonder if there's a sim limitation or something preventing them from doing it.  I've noticed this at quite a number of add-on airports.

The gate numbers are present in the released version. I purchased it and can confirm. MK also acknowledged on Facebook "we've made the shots using one of the scenery development versions. They're present in the released one."
