AivlaSoft future now looking brighter.

Disastrous news.  Aivlasoft is peerless with no equivalent.

It’s sad to report the Aivlasoft forum was taken down yesterday. All that useful info is lost. And no ability to see what the future is when a kind offer was made to host it.

The website is still running but its only purpose is to provide links to downloads.

I'd venture a guess it is LNM that caused the downfall of Aivilasoft's product.

More like Simbrief. Aivlasoft EFB was brilliant for European airspace, but it often created nonsensical flight plans for Canadian flights for me. Simbrief has not the same level of detail, but it has RL flight plans which work most of the time.

It was never advertised as a flight planner. Yes, it’s possible to link to Simbrief or RouteFinder within the interface but those are external products.

It remains exceptional for loading a plan, adding SID and STAR then saving the plan to be used in another process like Radar Contact for me. I could also load that plan into LittleNavmap. Taxi routing remains excellent and not something any other program can deliver.

Sales declined probably because it could never read MSFS scenery files as well as those for P3D so it was less inviting.
