Fenix A320: mapping to silence the alarm

Featured Replies

Hello Mates,

On the Fenix A320 when I disconnect the A/P there is a visual and audio warning.

I have an available button on my joystick.

What should I do in order to turn off and silence the alarm by pressing that button?

Thanks.

PS: I have FSUIPC registered.

Thanks, yes I am aware that you can silence the alarm by clicking with the mouse on the FCU button.

My question is: how or what do I have to map on my joystick to have the same result.

By pressing the mapped button twice. You map the red button on the side stick. That is the autopilot disconnect button.

Yes and what "function" do I map to the button?

I have already a button mapped to A/P. The FS function is "Master A/P".

What happens when you click your mapped button twice? First press to disconnect the autopilot and then what happens when you press that same button again?

In order for this to work for me on MSFS 2024, I mapped the red button on my Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition to "Autopilot Off." I didn't map it through FSUIPC, just through MSFS 2024.

As Farlis mentioned, you press the button twice to silence the chirp.

I have a button mapped with TOOGLE AUTOPILOT, so if click twice, it desactivate then reactivates the AP.

I assigned AUTOPILOT OFF to my last button and clicking it twice did the trick.

Thanks.

Glad you got it figured out! Nice! 😊
