2010 Ends sooooooonn PMDG

So? The webpage states "Coming soon", and even tough I'm not a rocket scientist I know that there will be no NGX in 2010 - keep on thinking that everyday you wake up is one day closer! ;)

Nice machine but I would have exchanged some memory and HD space money for a SSD. For me, if you build a new PC without SSD, you miss the biggest "step forward"...Best Regards,Bert Van Bulck

Hi everyone, i'm Getting ready to buy my new system in preparation for the NGX!!! Looking at getting the i7-950 and the Nvidia GTX 460. What do you guys think should that be ample enough to handle NGX with some add ons like REX and MegaScenery? I have a budget of around $1600.00 any help is great-full Merry Christmas to all!!! Hey!I built myself a little friend earlier this year and I must say I'm rather pleased with the results. The specs for my setup currently are;Intel i7 920 @ 4.2Ghz | EX58-EXTREME Mobo | 12GB DDR3@1600 | nVidia GF480GTX 1536MB | 2x 1TB Samsung 7200's | Thermaltake Spedo Case | Coolermaster V8 CPU Cooler | Windows7 64-bit |Settings ATM is all sliders to the right, autogen set to very dense and I'm using FEX + AS Evolution - ex. PMDG MD11 @ Flytampa TAMPA X with real weather and those settings gives me (unlimited) around 50-60fps in 2D and 30-40 in 3D, about the same with the Level-D. I can't wait to try out the NGX and see how it perfoms :)The i7 are begging to be overclocked, and it's so easy and such a safe thing to do these days!All this for around 1850$!Merry Christmas!/Tom

Heeey, maybe somebody should start reading this forum! It was stated yesterday that the NGX wont be out neither for christmas nor new year, so sit back relax and enjoy the holidays.

Dude and dudettes!The 'breaking news' that the NGX wont be released for Christmas shouldn't crash as a bomb on anybody - it's a complex package and Robert has stated numerous times that they will make a post here as soon as the betatesting is underway, it's THEN things starts to get 'fun' - that might take one week, two weeks or one month depending on the states of errors - hopefully none! :)But then again, it's holidays, this is a flightsimulator software addon, and there is - believe it or not - more important things to life than sitting inside her 24/7 refreshing the forums and asking the same Q's ten times a'day. Clear your mind, eat some good food, hang out with the folks and familiy and come back around New Year and maybe then we'll see some news!Merry Christmas to the PMDG team, and to everybody else! :)/Tom

Why shouldn't they? It was included in the FS2002/2004 NG, so the odds are pretty high that it's included in the NGX as well.RegardsTom

Folks!Is there anyway to add waypoints directly from the def. GPS by using LAT/LON like in the FS9 Reality XP one?If not, are there any GPS addons to FSX which can let me do this.Bottom line, i dont want to use AFX to make a point.. but insert the coords into the GPS directly and fly there ;)BrgdsTom

I'm running this main computer in LAN with my laptop, and looking for a way to connect let's say for instance FSX "live" with either Google Earth or even GoogleMaps on the laptop to use is lets say a 'GPS'..Is this possible?

Still the same, all over Norway and Sweden. The weather is not what it should be, and the metars are all 10hours old. TAF processing made things even worse with fog and haze, and the reality is CAVOK and 28 degrees C @ the moment.

Lately when trying to fire up AS with the latest online weather it gives me a rather old metar.Last example, today (10min) ago. Fired it up at 16:10 and it gave me the weather for 0210Z last night (Oslo Gardermoen).I'm using AS6 build 552.

Hey folks,Using the newest B536, I get the weather from 11JAN06 here in Norway. Also noticed that server 1 is very slow.. it takes like 2 minutes to load the 400kbs..Anyone else?

Both these files made my FPS fly up from 11 (Very Dense AG) to 20-25 with same settings! :)Nice catch!

Folks, first - thanks for a exellent baby! Havent tested it too much yet, but it looks very nice.Tough, I have some trouble opening the doors and get the loaders in place. Engines are off, no external power connected and I'm hitting SHIFT-E to open the main door, nothing happends. I also assign all the other usual keys like wingfold, tailhook but nothing seem to help..Guys? ;)

The guys seems alittle busy.. I wonder why! ;)
