  1. Hello nobody knows? Maybe it isnt possible after all? Would an hack works ? aka extracting the current picture the usual way, then replacing the extracted bitmap with screenshot taken from google earth using the "past" button? this seems hard to do. Etienne
  2. Hi, is there a way to load an historical sattelite picture of the google map server ? I mean when I look at google earth I would like to have the 2006 version (no clouds) rather than the 2011? Etienne
  3. Just tried. Does what is says on the tin, there is no way I could do the vancouver (3.0+) cyse fly under a heavy storm at 16 fps I just did with my setup without the software tweaking on the fly LOD and Fiber. Wont buy though, I HATE blurries and the solution applied leads to blurries. I hope a future version will give more flexibility. Rather than "aiming for a fps at all cost" more like "tell me what I can reduce if fps goes under a certain threashold". Then I would agree to have my lod progressively reduced from 5.5 to 2.5 on the fly as it is done as long as it is needed and get some fps back. Also to have 1x1, then 2x2 then 4x4 "dots" not printed etc..But I would not allow for Fiber ajustment, I just HATE blurries. The idea is very good, the soft works, please give flexibility to the users and you will have a buyer. Etienne
  4. Hi, is there a way to autolaunch the software (thru FSUIPC for example ?). Etienne
  5. This is great and Reinhard your support is top notch as usual! Will try and tell you if it works here tonight. (You should probably mention that in the documentation, as I am not probably the only one that this would help) Etienne
  6. Thanks Chris but I was hoping that some arguments could be passed to the apps ans scripted like: @echo off C:\Program Files (x86)\Panel Builder\ButtonMapper2.exe /launch & C:\Program Files (x86)\Panel Builder\FSXconnect.exe /Connect & wait 60 C:\Program Files (x86)\Panel Builder\PanelBuilder.exe /load=C172.dat & etc
  7. Hello, Thanks again for this great app, this is a must, and the more I understand the GPS, the more I like it. Is there a way to launch on a remote pC buttonMapper2, then FSX simconnect interface, then Panel Builder on one click ? I currently 1; launch buttonMapper2, click ok 2 launch FSX simconnect interface, click connect 3 launch Panel Builder click ok so 6 clicks and a lot of mouse dragging. maybe a small .bat file ? Etienne
  8. Hello, Donno if it has been covered before, but I seem to remember that there was a way to launch an app automatically from FSUIPC could this be a good candidate to simplify click management ? The sad thruth is that now the concept has been demonstrated, at least in some instance, one can expect a rush of alternate strategies, and the best candidate to do it would be FSUIPC itself as one option. Etienne
  9. Hello, I wonder if it would be possible to have the "main" payware set as addons (A2A C172, piper; aerosoft twin otter extended robin x, realair legacy lancair..) that all have those funy gauge that need special tratment. Not too sure about the profitability for you though. Keep on the amazing work Etienne
  10. Ok just to confirm the new fuel tank gauge works fine with the Carenado 182 RGII , thanks again. Etienne
  11. Thanks alot what a great support! Will try the new fuel tank this weekend Etienne
  12. Hi, The cesna 182 RGII (carenado) is a fav of the simmers because it is simple and you have fun things like cowl, landing gear and 3 motors level. Overall the 172 cesna range of simPlugins gauges works nicely thanks for that, one thing that would be nice to update would be the 172 2 tank fuel gauge and give an option to change the max currently set a 26. Another simple gauge that would be usefull is the one for the position of the rudder in a float plane. (not sure what they look like, the box style of the flaps would be a way) Finally; not sure it is easy to do without FSUIPC and to be fair I am happy with the directx fsx connection, but a "sim" cockîpt like gauge would be usefull (showing things like FPS (for optimisation), VAS (for OOM monitoring, the one given by FSUIPC), Sim speed multiplier, CPU and GPU temp ?). Maybe an independant addon because as long as P3D hasnt release a 64bits version - one can dream - monitoring those data is sadly also part of fsx simming. Etienne
  13. "By the way, ButtonMapper is now using DirectInput rather than querying the hardware device directly." seems to be the right choice! You still have to find something to do with the bottom left switch of the MFD, I suggested a night (all red) / day option but this is just an idea. Other minor idea: 1.) the "direct to" button should default to the last choice. 2.) Idem for the "info" choice 3.) something on the screen should prompt what level of range is displayed for a short delay after a change of range (like a small x1, x2, etc ) 4.) the aiport info could display the map of the airport (lines of the runways) and the nearby vor/adf etc. Etienne
  14. Hello, just to say a GREAT THANKS for this update of button mapper. 1. it now works fine on my remote PC vista 64b 2. and the GPS is now very responsive to the inputs as I can connect the MFD to the remote PC 3. FSX is smoother as button mapper is no more running on the main PC all in all it is all good! Thanks a lot, really !
