  1. At least in my experience, if you use the same computer, you can activate as many times as you want as long as you hardware doesn't change dramatically. I don't think there's any way that you can deactivate the plane. You get (I think) 3 activations, and after that you have to send a support ticket asking for more. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that activations "regenerate" over time, like they do with the DCS A-10 and other products (where you would get, say, 1 new activation a month, and only have to submit a ticket after that).
  2. Now I get this: "Dear customer,We are currently experiencing a database connection problem on our store. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please notify the store administrator so that we may fix the problem as soon as possible and let you know when the store becomes available again.Thank you for your cooperation!"
  3. Me too... so much for the site not crashing.
  4. Redirects me to the 747 LCF page :(
  5. I'll definitely buy the download version, I can't stand to wait any longer. I do wish the boxed copy came out on day one though, because I hate having to deal with activation of downloads and the activation limits.
  6. I'm certain that a product of PMDG-level would undoubtedly include all these models.
  7. Just bought it from Direct2Drive, looking forward to playing it. I played the Ka-50 DCS sim, and that was truly incredible. The physics, realism, and framerate were all amazing. If only FSX could have a modern engine like that... If anyone cares, you can use the coupon code 148AE5431C469231B983B8790E95D22C to get 15% off on Direct2Drive.
  8. Wow! That was really interesting to see all the different systems they have available on the 777. I wonder how many of those PMDG can simulate, especially the ATC/ATIS requests, or if the FSX engine makes it impossible to implement those. Having an EFB would be a very cool new tool to have in the PMDG model. Just makes me that much more excited for the PMDG version!
  9. It should run FSX very well. I just got a very similar system, with the same CPU, but with 8GB memory and the GTX 470, and it runs FSX quite smoothly with PMDG addons and Ultimate Traffic 2 at 1920x1200.
  10. Hey Daryl, do you happen to know any place that martinlest2 could go to get official support?
  11. Keep in mind, though, that the use of OpenGL allows X-Plane to remain cross-platform, which could be a major benefit in the future as more and more people switch to Macs.
  12. In regard to your 3rd question, the 747X will have significantly lower framerates than the J41. However, if you buy the 747-8 expansion, then fly with the new 747-8 models, the framerates are fairly good.
  13. Hi everyone, My name is Neal Young, and I live in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. I'm 17 years old and am currently a senior in high school. I will be attending the University of California, Irvine next year, majoring in economics and computer science. I've been playing flight simulators since I was about 7 or 8 years old with FS2000. Right now, I mostly play FSX on my dad's Mac Pro or my MacBook Pro with the PMDG MD-11 and 747-400/8. I love playing tennis, ultimate frisbee, and video games of all types. Neal Young
