07 to everyone who was there that day fighting for their countries, their families, their brothers, and their lives. My nearest serving relative was preparing to land on Saipan in the Pacific, and my parents' parents were still in diapers, but I've been able to learn a lot about what transpired that day, and It's an honor knowing I've lived on the same planet as those brave men. From playing the bagpipes in front of machine gunners, to just taking that step off the ramp of a boat into the jaws of Hell, everyone did their part. I hope that if we remember their sacrifice and are able to act, there will never be such a preventable cataclysm. Respect. I hope I will be able to continue everyone's great tradition of service in our armed forces.

I want a one stop short haul route. Suggestions?
PiperFM replied to Dragonmount's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
PAJN to PAKT? Full ORBX coverage. Even though it goes over two scenery regions, they're both must-haves. You can fly B737, Twin Otter, Q400 (which may be an IRL reality in the near future), Beaver, you name it. Beautiful area. -
As an observer who purposefully didn't invest anything into this forum, I think "The RTFM guy" is a much too kind description for what you are. You should be kind.

It's coming soon! And excuse me for reading your emails, but good for you for being a runner. :good:

GEX vs ORBX for high altitude North American flying
PiperFM replied to Cygnus_X1's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
What he said, and if you'd prefer coverage over all of the U.S. and all of Alaska, I'd go with UTX+GEX. And, you can also buy Ultimate Alaska X, does the same thing, except it covers Alaska. Personally, I like GA flying around my home turf in and between SE AK and PNW, so I yse ORBX. I'm thinking of getting UTX+GEX for any adventures outside it's coverage area. -
Red Flag Alaska Operations Exercise!

Excellent pictures, It reminds me of my recent trip from PANC back to PAJN, the weather conditions were just as they were in your pics, it was beautiful. Shame I didn't have a camera (though I gotta admit, it was a little prettier in person ) -

Nice video, beautiful country and a nice day always make a great video, it's always beautiful to fly over on flights to Seattle, though I'd prefer my country on a nice day over BC every day of the week, I prefer mountains -
Great shots! My grandpa owned one of those planes, it's a shame he had to sell it, but those shots look great!

I'm gunna give it to Tongass Fjords X for accuracy around the airport, everything else in the pic to UAKX. I was in wrangell a few weeks ago, albeit in the evening, and it seemed to had the tan-ish area around the airport as seen in TFX, though I thought it was grey. However, the near shore has trees almost all the way to the water, saw this from a ferry a couple days later. If I had to choose, I'd go with Ultimate AK X.

This stuff is funny. They're complaining about that white stuff, here's some good ol' SAC smog makers having some MITO fun!

Yeah, it's all pretty much guessing for now. -
Alaska N559AS- Salmon Thirty salmon Config
PiperFM replied to CapnOz's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Do you know this, because I'd imagine they'd keep most of the Classics until the MAXs replace the NG's down south, then take those up here to fill in the Alaska only routes. I think they'd also want to keep maintenance down to one type of aircraft up here instead of doing jets and turboprops, probably save money.
