Is anyone having any issues with click spots mainly on the overhead panel? I have to use the 2d panel to switch any of my avionics switches. Not working in the VC. Also when turning any knob such course and alttitude on the MCP it is so slow when using the mouse. Any way to speed them up?

A touch&go training with the PMDG house livery at UKBB consisting of about 30 touch downs. This will

include slow flight, steep turns and climbs, just to get a feel for the aircraft. Maybe even with one engine out.

That has to be the most sensible flight of all.

I am sure some of you also sim-fly with other ATP planes. My question is what is so special about this bird? Is it more difficult than the Boeing 700s? Does it fly better? I am sure there are pilot out there using the PMDG MD-11 to practice, but what are other reasons?

This is something I've been debating with myself too. I currently have the Saitek Yoke system, however, it occupies my entire desk so a joystick would be much better in terms of typing efficiency, etc. I do fly GA airplanes with yokes, and the NGX which has a yoke too so I don't know exactly what I should do.

Contact Tower for visual inspection and land accordingly.

Nothing wrong with Saitek's yoke. Had mine for 2 years+ and no problems, along with an extra throttle quad and their pedals.

Using TrackIR is the 'death knell' to 2D panels. :rolleyes:

I will not fly anything in FSX that does not have a high resolution, super detailed VC. That being the case, it would be nice to see an FSX native VC10 or Bac 1-11.
