I don't know who this guys is, he makes brilliant videos and is very knowledgeable, but he sounds like he's about 12...

Matthew is 14 Howard and is studying to be an airline pilot.

Seems like to me, he's gonna 'breeze' it. lol

  2. hi,

many thanks for the responses guys, im fairly new to the ngx still. as of basic information like the ils, waypoints, fixes and holds and other actions i can do. i just wanted a brief idea of what a vor is becuase i really had no idea.

This guy will show you everything about flying the NGX.

His knowledge is shared freely with anyone interested. I think you'll like them.

even the developper itself (Aerosoft) stated that it is not intended to be on par with the NGX in term of system development and that it was a middle range product.... see how wrong you are stating it is hardcore.... no comment.

I am quite dissapointed that you decided to criticise my opinion? No one would deny that the NGX is NOT hardcore but this version of the EXTENDED Airbus X is, and you get ambience with it too (something that is'nt an option with the NGX) for that reason only you have to commend Aerosoft for their effort here. To make a 99% replica of ANY aircraft is an impossibility but this one is most certainly aimed at good flight simmers and provides a very satisfying experience.

Don't forget also that everyone is entitled to their opinion and assesment.

  4. Yes Wilco just isn't in the same league as this one.

Aerosoft have raised the bar yet again and I was another who believed that the NGX would never be toppled. The ambience of the whole experience really does create a reality atmosphere and any other Airbus developer will have to look for a Utopia creation to better this one.

Yes, It has got some suprises for Boeing 'dyed-in-the-wool' flyers but that is the nature of the beast. Study the Airbus flightcom to get the best out of it and Yes, It most certainly IS hardcore!

  5. A freind of mine bought one of the Solid state hard drives just to use for flightsim. He has his operating system on another drive.

He downloaded just the NGX 8-900 and thats all he fly's.

His opinion is, you cannot enjoy all aircraft to the full so, enjoy and get used to the one aircraft and then you can fly it professionally because you know everything about it.

The AoA NGX course helps to keep his enjoyment interesting.

I think most of us suffer from the pain that, because we bought it we need to use it and have it on our hard drive but, of course, the more you install within flightsim the slower the performance.

    Food for thought, maybe?
